My name is Elroy, and I am currently a Technical Level Designer at Ubisoft Berlin working on Far Cry 6!
I was previously a Technical Designer at Sumo Digital, where I worked on HITMAN 2, Spyder, and other unannounced projects As a Technical Designer, my job entails being a bridge between gameplay programming and level design. I prototype and implement systems, mechanics, and features, and create the workflows and toolsets necessary that allow other people to create content for games. In 2018, I graduated from the 'International Game Architecture and Design' (IGAD) at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. In my 3rd year at NHTV, I worked on and released 'The Red Stare' as a Technical Designer, which released on July 31 2017 on Steam. I like to make games that resonate with people on a fundamental level; presenting the player with a place to explore, and discover/learn something about how the world works, or themselves through gameplay and interaction. |
